I am reminded of the saying 'they don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care' because while the perfect mental health worker is knowledgeable, above that, we are caring and we are unconditionally empathetic."

"Working as a DSP can be challenging at times but, what I enjoy most is having the opportunity to work with kids/clients who haven't always gotten a fair shake on life. Getting the opportunity to show them things can be different. Encouraging and teaching them that their lives can be whatever they would like them to be with a little bit of hard work and a lot of belief in themselves."
