Associate Director of Permanency
Devon Bortzfield (Associate Director of Permanency) -
Devon graduated from Lock Haven University with a bachelor's degree in social work. She joined the Children's Home of York team as a Caseworker in the Permanency department in 2016. While working as a Caseworker, Devon returned to school part-time at Millersville University and earned her master's degree in social work. She then moved to the BRIDGES™ Partial Hospitalization Program as a therapist and began working towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). In 2022, Devon was promoted to Supervisor of BRIDGES™.
In December 2024, Devon will assume the Associate Director of Permanency role in overseeing foster care, adoption, the Independent Living Program at George Street, and the RISE Program.
